To-Dos: A Competitive Analysis

For my fifth project at TripleTen, I designed a task management app to address a common challenge: staying organized in the midst of busy, multi-tasking lives. There are countless productivity tools already on the market and my goal was to understand what truly helps users manage and prioritize their work.

I evaluated three existing task apps firsthand and reviewed user feedback to understand how people create, organize, and track their to-dos. This research revealed that users rely heavily on clear structure and prioritization to reduce mental load and maintain focus.

Based on these insights, I prioritized two core features: categorizing tasks by type or context, and assigning priority levels to help users quickly identify what needs attention first. These decisions aimed to support efficient planning, improve visibility into workloads, and create a more intuitive, stress-reducing task management experience.
